Find it, track it, clean it up — one box does all three.

Most people, once they suspect mold, don’t know what to actually do about it. This kit is the whole answer in one box: a test to confirm what you’ve got, a monitor to watch the conditions that let it grow, and the safe cleaning supplies to deal with it. It’s the same three-step approach I’d walk a homeowner through myself — identify, monitor, remediate — bundled so you’re not piecing it together one Amazon order at a time. And a free Pelican One hat’s in the box too.

Why we carry this product

Mold isn’t a one-and-done problem — it’s a moisture problem that keeps coming back if you don’t watch the conditions. That’s why this kit isn’t just a test. You find out what’s there with an accredited lab, you keep an eye on the humidity that feeds it, and you clean with plant-based products that won’t trade one indoor-air problem for another. Testing is how we meet most customers; this box is how we help them actually fix it. — Mike

What's in the box?

  • SEEML Labs Mold DIY Test Kit — 3 surface samples, AIHA-accredited lab analysis included
  • Temtop M10+ Indoor Air Quality Monitor — tracks humidity, temperature, CO₂ and particulates
  • Aunt Fannie’s Bathroom Cleaner (Grime Fighter) — vinegar-powered
  • Aunt Fannie’s All-Purpose Cleaning Wipes — vinegar-powered
  • Aunt Fannie’s Multi-Surface Floor Cleaner — concentrate, makes up to 16 gallons
  • 6 microfiber cleaning towels — lint-free, reusable
  • 6 natural cellulose sponges — biodegradable, non-scratch
  • 4 damp duster sponges — for baseboards, blinds, and trim
  • FREE Pelican One hat — Warning: the OG Pelican One Hat may cause sudden-onset inspector syndrome. Symptoms include noticing water stains nobody asked about, side-eyeing crawl spaces, and sniffing for mold in other people’s houses.

How to use it?

Simple as 1, 2, 3:

  1. Test. Swab up to three suspect spots with the SEEML kit and mail them to the accredited lab to confirm what you’re dealing with.
  2. Monitor. Set up the Temtop M10+ where you’re worried — high humidity is what feeds mold, so watch it and dry out the room if the numbers run high.
  3. Clean. Wipe affected surfaces down with the Aunt Fannie’s cleaners, towels, sponges, and dusters. Re-test later to confirm you’re clear.

For heavy or widespread mold, or anything behind walls, stop and call a professional.

Why these products?

Every piece in here is chosen on the same healthy-home standard we hold our whole store to: an accredited lab (not a read-it-yourself agar dish), plant-based cleaners that are EWG A-rated and safe around kids and pets, and reusable, biodegradable supplies instead of disposable chemical wipes. Nothing in this box trades your indoor air quality for a quick clean.

What will the report tell me?

The lab identifies the mold present in each sample and gives you a confidential written report. The free consultation helps you make sense of it — whether what you've got is a wipe-it-down situation or a call-a-pro situation. It's information to act on, not a diagnosis of your health.

Good to know

  • Test type: Surface samples only (not air testing); lab fee included
  • Monitor: Reusable — keep it running long after the cleanup
  • Cleaners: Vinegar-based; spot-test natural stone and delicate finishes
  • Best for: early-stage, visible, or surface mold in homes and offices
  • This kit helps you identify and clean surface mold. It’s not a substitute for professional remediation on large infestations, hidden/structural mold, or situations requiring documentation for insurance or real estate.
